Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The ideal candidate
would have the following skills and experience:
- BSCS, BSEE, or equivalent experience
- Experience with C/C++ development in embedded
systems environment (IDEs, emulation,

- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing
real-time embedded software experience

Position:
Principal Hardware Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design
and develop datacom and telecom interface cards
for central office and customer premises applications.
- Develop/design/integrate
FPGAs and EPLDs where required.
- Responsible for module architecture definition
through module manufacturing release.
- Design Analog and Power circuits as
needed.
- Interface
with external and internal engineering resources
to place/route
printed circuit
boards.
- Implement design enhancements/feature
additions
- Generate hardware-related ECOs.
- Support internal compliance engineering
and external agencies in
compliance testing of
designs.
- Interface with manufacturing/test
to insure DFT and DFM requirements
are
met.

Position:
Senior
System Test Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Evaluation of product and functional
specifications
- Defining, writing and executing test
cases for all aspects of the product,
including
functional, regression, compatibility,
performance, stability, stress and usability
testing.
- Finding, tracing, and thoroughly identifying
defects; generating defect reports;
working with engineers on resolution;
and verifying
corrective action.
- Support customer service teams in troubleshooting
issues in the field
- Identifying opportunities for improvement
of system test practices and processes,
included implementation of automated
tests.
Requirements: The ideal
candidate would have the following skills
and experience:
- The candidate must be a highly motivated
and self-sufficient individual, with excellent
communication and team skills.
- 3-5
years of telephony/data testing experience
in embedded systems, specifically in
the areas of broadband and voice access
technologies.
- Candidate must be methodical in his/her
approach in the development of test
plans and in following through the
test plan
execution.
- Candidate should have a strong background
in test automation and familiarity
with python, java, and tcl would
be extremely
helpful. Product that you will
be supporting is a next generation
broadband
access
device combining the functionality
of a DLC, DSLAM,
Voice Gateway, DCS, and IP Router
into one box.
- Knowledge/experience
with GR-303, V5.2, MGCP, SIP, ISDN, L2
and
L3 IP Protocols,
and xDSL interfaces would be
highly desirable.
