The Company
Integral Access, Inc., headquartered in Chelmsford Massachusetts, is a privately held company that develops, manufactures and markets next generation access equipment for the delivery of integrated business and residential services by service providers. Integral Access currently has products deployed in more than 40 major US metropolitan areas and 8 European regions . Integral Access’ core competency is in the delivery of toll quality packet voice, traffic management and robust simplified operations and element management.
Integral Access believes that all services
will be delivered over a converged IP based infrastructure, providing
the scalability, operational efficiencies and framework for delivering
enhanced services. A strategy based on deploying a next generation
packet platform, allows for the easy introduction and adoption
of not only evolutionary but also revolutionary broadband services
with minimal cost impact in the access portion of the network.
From a tactical and strategic perspective, it reduces the high
cost of using architecturally fragmented and specialized platforms
and maximizes the utilization of the access network.
To support this vision, Integral Access
has developed technology to enable carriers to take advantage of
the benefits that are delivered by Next Generation Packet networks,
including the necessary support for existing carrier infrastructures
and the tools to facilitate the transition to a managed IP network.
The PurePacket architecture delivers a variety of services on a
single platform and ensures quality of service.
The Integral Access product solution,
PurePacket, is comprised of an access aggregation platform (PurePacketNode),
customer premises integrated access
devices (OUTburst) and an operations management system (PurePacketOMS).
This solution allows service providers to offer traditional and
enhanced voice and data services to Small-to-Medium Enterprises
(SME) and broadband residential services, enabling revenue growth
with new services at lower costs than traditional overlay solutions.
The product has been designed to ease carrier adoption and addresses
a multitude of applications over a variety of network infrastructures. |
