Sylantro and Integral Access Partner to Deliver Converged Business-Class Services

Interoperability Certification Completed for Customer Trials to Deliver Multi-Service Offerings

ATLANTA, June 3, 2003 - Sylantro Systems, the leading provider of IP Centrex platforms and applications, and Integral Access, Inc., the leading provider of IP access networks, today announced official certification of Sylantro’s applications server and the Integral Access PurePacket multi-service access platform to fulfill existing customer trial requirements.

The certification of these products delivers a new solution for service providers to deploy revenue-generating multi-service offerings to business-class customers. Carriers can now deliver IP Centrex and Hosted PBX services coupled with the Integral Access PurePacket multi-service access gateway and family of integrated access devices. Further, service providers can implement an end-to-end certified solution to build a multi-vendor, IP-based network that will minimize the time and complexity associated with network testing, integration and deployment.

Sylantro’s applications server and PurePacket are certified to work with legacy Central Office equipment as well as softswitch-based solutions. Service providers that currently have a traditional circuit-switched infrastructure can immediately deploy this certified solution and, if desired, migrate to an all-IP network utilizing the Sylantro hosted communications solutions and server with the PurePacket simultaneous support for Class 5 switches and softswitch architectures. With the PurePacket multi-service access gateway and Sylantro-based enhanced voice services, service providers can now ensure customers quality of service and carrier-class telephony over the last mile. Service providers will also benefit from enhanced security and reliability, as well as easier network management and an access solution that enables them to launch VPN and Ethernet services.
