Polystar Instruments AB to distribute and support PurePacket Access Products

Under this agreement Polystar will market, distribute and support the Integral Access PurePacket solution for next generation Access Networks in the Nordic and Baltic regions. The PurePacket Access Solution delivers an all packet-based access network to service providers for the delivery of business and residential telecommunication services. This partnership will enable network operators in the Nordic regions to effectively meet the demand for a variety of voice and data services and continue to leverage their legacy circuit-switched networks

The PurePacket system is an intelligent IP-based access solution that allows carriers to deliver a comprehensive set of converged services over a single multi-purpose network regardless of the last mile link available for reaching customers. To maximize the traffic carrying capacity of networks and increase revenue opportunities for carriers, PurePacket uses an IP/MPLS-based architecture to route, transport and switch voice, video, and data transmissions in packet format. PurePacket provides simultaneous support for domestic and international circuit-switch networks and global softswitch architectures as a line access gateway and next generation digital loop carrier - facilitating the migration to an all softswitch architecture
