The PurePacketOUTburst 1212 and OUTburst
1224 fixed configuration IADs provide a scalable Carrier
Class solution for delivering broadband, IP-converged voice, video,
and data services for small and
medium businesses. These highly cost effective IADs (Integrated
Access Devices) provide integrated
voice and data services via a PurePacket infrastructure to SMBs.
The award winning PurePacketNode
provides aggregation, service interworking and voice gateway functionality
for OUTburst IADs.
Dynamic bandwidth allocation and QoS enable voice and data to
be transmitted simultaneously across
a common access line, providing great cost savings. For example,
in a typical configuration an
OUTburst 1224 can deliver 24 simultaneous voice calls and 400kbps
of data over a single DS1 leased
line, using G.711 coding. Additional Best Effort data can be
carried when voice lines are not in use.
Label Switching, echo cancellation, Voice Activity Detection
(VAD) and comfort noise addition provide
complete toll-quality voice connections. The OUTburst-1212 and
1224 combine leading voice
packetization and CPE router capabilities to deliver cost effective
next generation access.
